Richard S. Babjak
Richard Babjak is the President of World Equity Group, Inc. Richard has an extensive background in marketing, finance, and management. He graduated with a double major in Marketing and Psychology from North Central College and received his Master’s Degree in Marketing and Finance from Wayne State University. He holds the professional designations of Chartered Financial Consultant, Chartered Life Underwriter, Certified Fund Specialist, and Registered Financial Consultant. Richard holds the following securities licenses: 4, 6, 7, 22, 24, 27, 53, 63, 65, as well as being licensed for life and health insurance.
Richard is a member of various professional organizations, including the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants, the Northwest Suburban Estate Planning Council, and The American Society of Chartered Financial Consultants. Rich has served on the Boards of The United Way of Lake County, Libertyville Township Soccer Complex, The College of Lake County Foundation and Carmel High School Planned Giving. Rich is also active with Misericordia and the Libertyville Sunrise Rotary. Mr. Babjak is listed in Who’s Who in the Midwest, Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, and Who’s Who in Executives and Business. He has also published two books through Palisade Press titled “Educated Investing” and “Tactical Asset Allocation for Serious Investors.”
Robert D. Yarosz
Robert D. Yarosz, Registered Principal of World Equity Group, Inc. and Managing Director of the Compass Active Tactical Management Program, has been in the financial service industry since 1985. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Edinboro University, as well as the professional designations of Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) from The American College and Registered Financial Consultant (RFC) from the International Registry of Financial Consultants. Mr. Yarosz is listed in the Global Directory of Who’s Who and holds a Life Health Insurance license, as well as the following security licenses: Series 6, 7, 22, 63, 65 and 24.
Chief Financial Officer
Stephen Dudas is the Chief Financial Officer of World Equity Group, Inc. He recently served as an integral part of the senior management team for a successful independent broker dealer, and has experience as a Financial and Operations Principal. Mr. Dudas has worked with closely held businesses as an auditor, tax planner, and business advisor in multiple industries including financial services, and he spent the first twelve plus years of his career in public accounting.
Stephen graduated from North Central College earning a Master in Business Administration in Finance; he previously graduated from Northern Illinois University earning a B.S. degree in Accounting. Mr. Dudas has passed one Principal/Supervisory Exam, Series 27; and one General Industry/Product Exam, Series 7. He is a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society, and he also earned a Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning.
Chief Operating Officer
Mark Lishchynsky is currently the Chief Operating Officer of World Equity Group, Inc. Prior to joining World Equity Group, he held the role of President and CCO of a RIA and Broker Dealer located in Chicago. Mr. Lishchynsky has 20 years of management experience in diverse financial services institutions with a focus on Compliance, Operations and Risk Management.
Mr. Lishchynsky attended the University of Wyoming. Mark has passed 4 Principal/Supervisory Exams, Series 4, 9, 10 and 24; one General Industry/Product Exam, Series 7; and two State Law Exams, Series 63 and 66.
Chief Compliance Officer
Jeffrey Weglarz is the Chief Compliance Officer and Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer of World Equity Group, Inc. He has been with the firm since May 2008. Previous to World Equity Group, Mr. Weglarz was an Operations Associate with Northwestern Mutual and a Registered Representative with First Investors Corporation.
Mr. Weglarz graduated from Trinity Christian College earning a B.S. degree in Business Administration. Jeffrey has passed three Principal/ Supervisory Exams, Series 4, 24 and 53; two General Industry/Product Exams, Series 6 and 7; and two State Law Exams, Series 63 and 66.
Robert Walter is currently the Vice President of World Equity Group, Inc. He has been with the firm since 2009 and has previously held the titles of Trading Manager, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Chief Operating Officer. Previous to World Equity Group, Mr. Walter spent his first 5 years in the financial industry as a market maker and top producer in a private brokerage division.
Mr. Walter graduated from Northern Illinois University earning a B.S. degree in Finance. Robert has passed two Principal/ Supervisory Exams, Series 4 and 24; two General Industry/Product Exams, Series 7 and 55; and two State Law Exams, Series 63 and 66.
